Setting up eye catching point of sale for confectionary and sweets needs to look fun to attract potential customers, but also needs to be profitable for the store. There’s more to it than simply ordering stock and getting it out on the shop floor.
When looking at where to place point of sale displays, you need to think about two factors:
Where can you accommodate point of sale displays? A confectionary display is usually guaranteed to make a profit but if you have crammed the point of sale into a small space, it can look uninviting and may be difficult for customers to access.
Secondly, from which place will your customers see it best? If you want to attract children to the sweet display then it should be situated next to other items that appeal to them, such as toys. If you have a small point of sale display and want to attract impulse buyers, then on the counter near the cash till is best.
Choosing the best quality containers for holding sweets may sound obvious, but there are many stores that end up with poor point of sale through lack of thought. You’ll only waste time and money this way. Think about how much space you have to play with. Could you get a large point of sale display or would only small fixtures fit? Are there any special requirements such as shelving for chocolate bars and hooks for bags of confectionary?
At Tradewind Displays we can help with all of your point of sale requirements.
