Although there is a sea-change in how we get our news – with many of us now getting that news-fix online, either via search engine’s home news pages, or by digital versions of the market leading publications –  more traditional hardcopy newspapers are still hugely popular. For newspaper vendors, therefore, their place on the high street seems well assured. Yet if they really want to connect with their customers, as they adapt to ever faster lifestyles, then it is crucial that they learn to optimize their newspaper stands – which is essentially point of sale.

With this in mind, effective newspaper display stands should not only present the product (i.e the newspaper) in an effective way, but it should also serve as an advertising function. On the one hand, it should grant the customer easy access to the product, and on the other, it should advertise to potential customers.

The most effective newspaper display stands will depend largely on your particular products/product. For example, if you stock a variety of newspapers, then you’ll want a stand that clearly presents each issue, without looking cluttered. With this in mind, triple multi-tier stands would be ideal, as it allows vendors to dedicate a different tier to a different magazine or paper.

Newspapers are highly unique products, as they also have a self-advertising function, as  many customers peruse the headlines before deciding to purchase. This is exactly why newspapers are displayed on stands, as it allows for easy visual access and physical access when the customer commits to buy.
